The process of submitting application comprises of the following steps:
Step 1 : Application Fee Payment & get the Application ID
Step 2: Filling of online Application.
Step 3 : Print Application Form.
Step4 4: Post the application form along with Certificates mentioned in 2.1.
Note: Only PH/CAP/NCC/Sports applicants have to post their applications along with the relevant certificates to the specified address in the detailed notification.
RGUKT IIIT Admission Notification 2020 Online Application Form
The press note for the Admissions to 6-Year Integrated B. Tech Program-2019 in Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) is released on 25.04.2019 at Conference Hall, RGUKT Basar. Admissions to the first year of Integrated B Tech Program (2020-21 ) will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject, and by the statutory reservations of the State. A deprivation score of 0.4 prescribed by the Government for the year 2020-21 under Statute 13 (3) shall be added to the 10th class GPA for those applicants who studied in non-residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad, Municipal Schools with an objective of providing weightage to the socio economically challenged students in the admission process. At RGUKT, Basar, admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Telangana State) and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be Un-reserved (these seats will be filled with both the students of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh based on merit) as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014. Supernumerary seats to the extent of 5% are available under the Global Category for the students belonging to States other than Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and including the Children of Indians (all the States) working in Gulf Countries. The tuition fee for the Global Category is Rs.1,36,000/- per annum. Note: Unfilled seats of Global Category will be allocated to the local candidates (only for the Telangana State) by paying Rs.1,36,000/- per annum. 2% supernumerary seats are available for International / NRI students. The tuition fee is Rs.3,01,000/- per annum.

Procedure to Apply for IIIT Basara Admission 2020
Eligibility for IIIT Basara Admissions 2020
a) Candidates should have passed SSC (10th class) or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Governments of Telangana State & AP State and conducted in 2020 in first attempt.
b) Candidates should not have completed 18 years of age as on 31.12.2020, (21 years in case of students belonging to SC and ST categories).
c) International students shall be of Indian Nationality / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
The candidates should apply through TSOnline services only for IIIT Basara Admissions 2020.
Application Fee: Rs. 200.00 (for OC and BC candidates)
Rs. 150.00 (for SC and ST candidates)
The application fee should be paid in cash at TSOnline service center, for which the center will issue a receipt.
An additional amount of Rs. 25.00 per application should be paid as service charges to the TSOnline Centre
If any candidate applies more than once, then the latest application will be considered for the selection process.
Immediately after submitting the application through online, the applicant should send its print-out duly signed along with copy of the receipt mentioned in 2(c) above and the relevant certificates to The Director, Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Basar, Nirmal District, Telangana State-504107, by Speed Post / Registered Post. The candidates should write on top of the cover ‘Application for Admissions 2020 – RGUKT - Basar’.
List of Certificates to be enclosed for III Admissions 2020
Certified copies of the following certificates / documents should be sent along with the print –out of the online application form submitted through TSOnline Services:
a) The receipt issued by the TSOnline services (see 2(c) above).
b) Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under this category (for details see Annexure - VI).
c) Children of Armed Forces (CAP) certificate in the prescribed proforma by those claiming reservation under this category (for details see Annexure - VII).
d) NCC certificate by those claiming reservation under this category (for details see Annexure - VIII).
e) Sports certificate(s) at the level of inter-district and above by those claiming reservation under this category (for details see Annexure - VIII).
Selection Procedure for IIIT Basara Admissions 2020
Admissions will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject in 10th class, and as per the provisions of Presidential Order, 1974. A deprivation score of 0.4 prescribed by the Government under Statute 13 (3), shall be added to the 10th class GPA of applicants from non-residential Government Schools including the ZillaParishad and Municipal Schools for selection, with an objective of providing weightage to help the students from socially, economically deprived sections of the society for admissions.
The selection criteria for the applicants passed out from the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra PradeshBSE-AP will be decided later, as per the admission rules of RGUKT-Basar,as BSE-AP has announced results without grades for its 10th Class students who appeared for SSC exams in March/April 2020.
b) In case of a tie in GPA score, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in that sequence:
Higher grade in Mathematics,
Higher grade in General Science,
Higher grade in English,
Higher grade in Social Studies,
Higher grade in 1st Language,
Older candidate as per the Date of Birth,
Lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number.
If the tie is resolved with any of the check in the chronological order mentioned above, the next option(s) will not be checked
