Union Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman today officially launched the e-PAN facility to get PAN number within seconds. The Aadhaar card number along with the Aadhaar mobile number is available only to those who have it. There is no charge for this electronic PAN card which does not require any paperwork. 

The Income Tax Department has announced the availability of this facility as part of Digital India. However, the facility is already available in the beta version.  The government has issued a total of 50.52 crore PAN cards across the country as of May 25. Out of these, 49 crores of pans have been given to individual taxpayers. Of the total, 32 crore cards have been linked with Aadhaar.

1. Enter Aadhaar Number
2. Validate Aadhaar OTP
3. Validate Aadhaar Details
4. Validate Email ID
5. Download PAN Card

9. Click on Instant PAN through Aadhaar which is in the left side bar
10. Click on Get New PAN Button
11. Enter your Aadhaar number 
12. Enter Captcha code
13. Click on I Confirm that
14. Click on Generate Aadhaar OTP
15. You get an OTP to your Mobile Number which is linked to Aadhaar number
16. Validate the OTP by entering 
17. Validate Aaadhaar details
18. Validate Email Details ( its Optional ) 
19. Fianally Get PAN Download PDF
